Our Work
The year 5 & 6 pupils have been creating 'Moving Toys' by constructing a
wooden frame and incorporating dowel and cams to produce the movement.
Year 1\2 Scarecrows
As part of the Year 1\2 'Dressing-Up' topic the children welcomed their 'Dads & Lads' into school to create 23 magnificent scarecrows for the school's sensory garden. Every scarecrow has a name and they will be living in the garden until the weather gets the better of them! Thank you to all the 'Dads & Lads' for a wonderful morning - we hope they enjoyed it as much the children and staff did!

Example of the pupils work
The children in Early years have created a display of 'Misty Trees' using charcola and tissue paper.
During the week 9-13th February the children at Potley Hill participated in a 'Shakespeare week'. All year groups took part in a workshop which was specific to 'The Tempest' and during the week the children participated in drama sessions and writing workshops inspired by this play.
This is the display put together by class 1\2I
The children's work from across the year groups was also placed on the 'Globe Theatre' display in the school's foyer
The pupils in Year 6 have been looking at Scientists and have created some very interesting projects.
