Headteacher's Welcome:       

Welcome to Potley Hill Primary School, where each child is welcomed and valued as an individual.  We aspire to provide a happy and caring environment where every child, regardless of their background, can flourish as a unique individual whilst also contributing to our school community.

Our curriculum is both challenging and creative, catering for the diverse needs of our children.  Through our curriculum at Potley Hill, we aim to inspire an excitement and enthusiasm for learning while catering for the diverse needs of our children. The curriculum aims to equip pupils with key, lifelong skills across a wide range of subjects but it is underpinned by high quality English and Maths.  We also encourage the development of a broad range of interests and talents by providing a rich variety of extra-curricular activities, opportunities and experiences which are supported through our Potley Hill Pupil Guarantee.

Particular importance is placed on recognising and celebrating individual achievement, together with developing personal responsibility. These qualities and attributes are reflected in our core values which are organised in to learning and social behaviours that help develop the skills pupils need for success in learning and life. They also enable all members of the school community to live the school motto: ‘Dream big, aim high and make a difference.’
