Nurture Group

Our Nurture Groups are run by Mrs Wetherill with support from Mrs Elkins. 

Nurture Group is an inclusive intervention that works over a longer time, and offers children a range of opportunities to engage with other children in a safe environment and to share some nurturing experiences, giving them the social and emotional skills to do well at school and with their peers.  They can develop their resilience and their capacity to deal more confidently with everyday activities, both at school and in their home life, and build firm friendships which they can maintain.  Socially, they develop confidence, become responsive to others, learn self-respect and take pride in behaving and achieving in school.
